Intensive Treatment Program


Crossroads Group Home High Management Program operates as a structured treatment facility for adolescent females ranging in ages from 10 to 18 who have experienced childhood physical, sexual or emotional abuse.
 
At risk females are accepted based on the nature of the progression of their victimization, external and internal motivation for treatment, treatment history, medical and criminal history.
 
Adolescents must have the ability to engage in cognitively centered activities and must be able to function in a least restrictive environment.  Clients may or may not be certified Emotionally Handicapped by their home school district.
 
The goals of the Crossroads Group Home Intensive Treatment Program are:
 
To operate programs which protect the victim from further abuse.
 
To provide intensive treatment for adolescent female victims ages 10 to 18 through a structured residential program.
 
To provide psychoeducation regarding the cycle of abuse.
 
To move residents from victim status to survivorship.
