Crossroads Clinical Day Treatment program offers an array of services dedicated to the reduction of maladaptive behaviors exhibited in the school setting. Services are provided in coordination with public education for students age six to twenty-one, as well as with crossroads residential programs.
Treatment is provided within a psychosocial context including programming which integrates therapeutic interventions, educational and recreational activities. The multi-modality approach is designed to provide a more effective response to the individual needs of each client and will allow him/her to be reintegrated into a less restrictive environment in a timely manner.
Unhealthy survival skills are explored and replaced with healthy psychological constructs. Underlying causes for negative behavior are addressed comfortably yet throughly to prevent recurrence of negative behaviors. Prevention of more costly and restrictive treatment options are a desired outcome of this service.
